Missions

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”  Acts 1:8

In fulfilling the commission that Jesus laid out in this verse, we seek to do missions here in Frankfort.  For example, we help our community through benevolence ministry to assist with paying bills and providing food.  We partner with the Clinton County Ministry of Hope to provide a free meal to the community every Thursday night.  Other local ministries that we support include Rainbow Haven, The Salvation Army, The Pregnancy Resource Center, and The Kokomo Rescue Mission.

Then we have looked to move outside these local walls into areas such as Henryville IN and Corbin KY to provide disaster relief or help with low income housing projects and doing backyard Bible Clubs.  We also support two missionary families through the Purdue Baptist Collegiate Ministry (Ben & Nettie Beck and Dennis & Julie Runner).

Lastly, we support foreign missions such as the SBC Cooperative Program and The Timothy Initiative. We want to help take the gospel to the ends of the earth to plant and strengthen churches in places like Haiti, Brazil and Africa.  Please see the info concerning Josue & Amanda Sousa who are full-time missionaries from our church!
